CNR-ITD researchers Valeria Piras, Stefania Bocconi and Chiara Fante ran a successful practical workshop titled “Imagining Futures to Rethink Digital Relationships” at the Educare alle Differenze conference held 26-27 Sept in Naples.
Attendees got hands-on experience with a CNR-ITD developed toolkit for exploring relationships in digital environments. The approach behind the toolkit combines futures literacy, comprehensive sexuality education, and digital competences, as well as critical and transfeminist education.

Working in groups, participants explored micro-stories set in 2050 that tackle issues like consent, power, inclusion, discrimination and online violence. The workshop was also an excellent opportunity for in-depth discussion and co-design. Outcomes will help refine a learning pathway being designed for secondary schools. This initiative is part of the RE-STIAMO INSIEME!, a project promoted by the Municipality of Bergamo and involving the Centro Educazione Digitale (CED), who entrusted CNR-ITD with design of this work.
