Very happy to share a research project that has now been published in Education Sciences.
In “The Role of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Nurturing Creativity: A Systematic Review of the Early Adoption Phase”, we reviewed the early literature on the use of generative AI to support creativity in educational and professional contexts.
The paper maps the tools, approaches, and types of evidence that characterised this first phase of adoption, while also reflecting on the methodological and conceptual limits of the existing literature.
The review also raises a broader question: What changes when part of the creative process is shared with generative AI?
In the paper, we discuss this issue and outline directions for future research on human–AI creative processes.
