ARI-Lab is a research project
in the field of the Educational Technologies. It is aimed
at studying how microworld-based systems, on-line communication
systems, and learning object tecnologies can impact on mathematics
learning, and in particular, on arithmetics problem solving
and on the introduction to algebra. This project has brought
to the development of software systems which have been tested
in a variety of different concrete classroom settings. Three teaching paths centred ob a version of ARI-LAB software can be found in
this site
The latest versions of this system are the two software systems
ARI-LAB 2 and ARI@ITALES.
The ARI-Lab project has affected
different research fields: mathematics education, educational
technologys, cognitive science, Human Computer Interaction,
school integration of disabled students.
