CONTEXT OF USE
of ARI@ITALES
To use the authoring tools of ARI@ITALES
(the Text Editor, the Solution Sheet, the Microworlds,
the Simulator, and the Player), the teacher has to download
them from the server, or from a CD, in which they are
present and to save them on his/her own computer. Once
they are downloaded on his/her own computer, the authoring
tools are available on local as stand-alone applications
to realize different kinds of learning resources to be
later inserted in a course.
The teacher can therefore use any Course Assembly Tool
available on the market or on the Internet in order to
structure in a course the learning resources carried out
by means of the authoring tools of ARI@ITALES.
The course can be rendered available through a server
accessible via Internet or through a CD.
Students can access to the course through a browser (Explorer)
and execute the activities of solution to problems scheduled
in it just by accessing automatically to the Solution
Sheet and to the microworlds of ARI@ITALES,
or they can review the simulations scheduled in the course
by accessing automatically to the Player.
