The Solution Sheet is the environment where the user builds
his/her own solution to the current problem.
A solution is built by copying the graphical representations,
produced in the microworlds, in the Solution Sheet and by
adding comments and descriptions in it.
The Solution Sheet is divided into three main sections.
In the zone situated above on the left, there is the text
of the problem to be solved.
In the zone situated above on the right, there are the icons
of the microworlds. The user enters the corresponding microworld
by selecting one of them.
The zone situated below is the workspace of the Solution
Sheet, where the representations realized in the microworlds
can be pasted.
In the part situated below of the workspace, there are the
commands for operating in this space (copying representations,
erasing them, adding worksheets, inserting comments, etc.).
By selecting the icon “Post it”, the user can
place comments and explanations both in the verbal language
and in the symbolic one.
The user can moreover access to the communication environment
or to a graphical editor from the Solution Sheet to produce
drawings that can be later pasted on the Solution Sheet.
