The Solution Sheet is the environment where the user builds
his/her own solution to the current problem. The functions
of the Solution Sheet of ARI@ITALES are
similar to those of the Solution Sheet of ARI-LAB
2.
In fact, a solution is constructed by pasting on the Solution
Sheet the graphical representations produced in the microworlds
and by inserting comments and descriptions.
The Solution Sheet is divided into three main parts.
In the interface zone above on the left, there is the text
of the problem which must be solved.
In the zone above on the right, there are the icons corresponding
to the microworlds.
By selecting one of them, the user enters the corresponding
microworld.
The zone below is the workspace of the Solution Sheet, where
it is possible to paste the representations realized in
the microworlds or to insert comments and explanations both
in the verbal language and in the symbolic one through the
icon "Post it". This icon is in the lower zone
of the workspace, where there are the commands for operating
in this space (copying representations, erasing them, adding
worksheets, inserting comments, etc.).
Unlike the Solution Sheet of ARI-LAB 2,
in the Solution Sheet of ARI@ITALES it
is possible to produce an image of the current page, to
open the text of a problem previously prepared through the
Text Editor, and to save the current solution brought off
on the user's computer. All that is meant in order to carry
out learning resources to be placed in a course for students.
