I graduated in Psychology at Palermo University in 1993. Between 1994 and 2001 I received funding to work at the Institute of Educational Technologies at the Italian National Research Council and in 2001 I became a permanent researcher.
In these years I have acquired competences in different fields of ICT applications, in particular my current interests are the definition of modalities for using ICT to empower learning in educational contexts, considering advantages, disadvantages and conditions for exploiting them.
Particular attention is given to the study of theoretical and methodological aspects involved in the design and experimentation of learning paths supported by ICT.
