Stella de Robertis joined the Institute for Educational Technology (ITD) of the Italian Research Council (CNR) in March 2020 as an assistant to researchers for financial reporting and funding applications. Previously, she worked for over three years at the Marine Engineering Institute (INM) as part of the Grant Office team. From 1999 to December 2016, as Executive Assistant to the Director of the CNR Biophysics Institute (IBF), she was responsible for a variety of administrative and technical tasks in support of IBF’s research community. Previous positions held at CNR focused on financial auditing (from 1989 to 1992) and technical assistance on EU projects (from 1995 to 1998).
Before joining CNR, she worked for several years in shipping, freight forwarding and offshore services, both in Italy and in the UK. She acquired further experience abroad at the Personnel Department of the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia. For three years, she also worked as a freelance translator (English) in the publishing sector.
Stella de Robertis is co-founder and Facilitator of CO-VISION, an online professional community of CNR’s administration and support staff. Co-Vision, which currently numbers almost 700 participants, was established by the 2013 CNR Innovation Prize and was also recognized as a “Smart Community in the Italian Public Sector” at SMAU Turin 2016.
