Vanessa Pitrella is a pedagogist and a PhD candidate in Learning Sciences and Digital Technologies at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. She conducts research activities between the University of Palermo and the Institute for Educational Technology of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR-ITD) in Palermo. Her research focuses on the integration of Artificial Intelligence in pre-service and in-service teacher education, with particular attention to the development of AI literacy and the evolving role of teachers within innovative educational contexts.
