The DIGICAMP project provides a solution that combines the benefits of online (or, rather, distance) education with traditional face-to-face classroom teaching. The goal of the DigiCAMP project is to help eliminate the negative aspects of distance education in primary and lower secondary schools. To achieve this goal, the project will focus on the active engagement of stakeholders in project activities. The main objective of the project is to develop a methodology for teachers to teach effectively and for parents to be involved in their children's education through a 3D virtual world. It will also offer innovative learning activities and a virtual educational platform that will be developed to support students' active learning, allowing them toto experiment and put theoretical knowledge into practice. A special part of the virtual reality environment will cover thevirtual labs that will be designed to facilitate students to conduct experiments, explore procedures, and gain a deeper recognition and understanding of how procedures are conducted and things/phenomena work.
