The project God Save the Nerd! Augmented Reality at #mtdvercelli, realized in collaboration with the Fondazione Museo del Tesoro del Duomo e Archivio Capitolare di Vercelli, and supported by Compagnia di San Paolo (bando Luoghi della Cultura 2019), is aimed at the creation of a video game of the Museo del Tesoro del Duomo, in order to actively involve all the public that will pass through the doors of the Museum, to create exciting moments of interaction with the cultural heritage of our country. To this end, the Institute for Educational Technologies of the CNR of Palermo has developed a video game with the graphic consultancy of Bepart.

The video game called "Hwaet! The Vercelli Book Saga", revolves around the Anglo-Saxon manuscript, preserved at the Museum of Vercelli, whose multiple stories will tell the heritage of the Museum and Library.

An emotional narrative, in which the video game will evoke the medieval imagery and atmosphere thanks to the strong artistic component that characterizes it.

Hwaet! The Vercelli Book Saga can be downloaded for free from the Apple and Android stores.
