The increasingly widespread use of ICT is generating new methodological, educational and technological opportunities for the design and implementation of distance learning systems. New network architectures are leading to truly interactive learning with high level simulation and virtuality, and are facilitating the accessibility of web based resources to the disabled.

The aim of the project is to explore these possibilities through the construction of an environment to be used for designing innovative distance learning courses, with special focus on the opportunities offered by satellite neworking and mobile learning.
