Framework

Facing social distress, distance learning and telework/smart work solutions provide ample room for customization. During educational and vocational training’s phase,they can short the professional retraining period, while, during the work experience phase, allow to complement on site duties with tasks achieved by working from home. The role of technology and the potentiality they offer in this field still need to be deeply investigate.

Objectives

The main objective of Scintilla is to create an integrated system model that support distance learning/professional retraining, aimed to work integration of people with different problems that limit capability of movement.

Workplan

The action plan of the project includes:

  • study and set-up of the integrated system model;
  • vocational education of Vocational Educational and Training (VET) body’s employers concerning both e-learning for people with disabilities and recent evolutions of telework’s models;
  • validation of the integrated system model through a pilot action enforced on a final beneficiary sample;
  • -    definition of sustainability parameters of the models, aimed to its enforcement in Liguria area.

Expected results

A network system able to supprot and promote (a) educational and vocational training aimed to telework/smart work for disadvantaged peoples; (b) vocational education for Vocational Educational and Training (VET) body’s employers concerning e-learning methodologies; (c) stakeholders targeted information and consciousness activities on telework/smart work and professional retraining of disadvantaged people; (d) matching demand/supply for teleworking to be devoted to these subjects (e) disadvantaged people support during the early work experience
