Objectives

The aim of this project is promoting an increase in the number of people involved in training programs and a courses. In particular in this project the use of mobile technologies for lifelong learning was investigated in order to boost the number of people involved in training programs and, consequently, to help people to find a job. 

Workplan

Two courses for 40 adult students, currently excluded from the educational cycle and living in a disadvantaged area of Palermo (the ZEN suburb) was organized using mobile devices. . In this project was used the MoULe system for iOS devices. 

Expected results

The courses focused on the use of mobile technologies to design innovative mobile touristic guides; these guides aggregated not only information about the town’s places, but also about the crafts from the past which are disappearing from Palermo
